Holland Greenhouse is the garden brand of Holland Imports Inc., a family-owned Canadian wholesaler that has spent more than fifty years putting dependable products in the hands of Canadians.
Today that means everything a garden needs to get going in spring and keep going all season: watering, tools, planters, growing supplies, greenhouse essentials and outdoor accessories — carried by garden centres and retailers from coast to coast.
Our Roots
It Started With Seed and Service.
In the 1920s, C.G. Punjani opened a general store in Kisumu, Kenya, supplying farms and families with tools, seed and the everyday things that kept land productive. His motto — people with service — is still the simplest description of how we work.
In the early 1970s the family moved to Vancouver, started again behind the counter of a small hardware store in Maillardville, and eventually bought it. Some days took in less than forty dollars. They kept going.

1920s
A Family Store
C.G. Punjani opens a small general store in Kisumu, Kenya, serving farms and rural communities with tools, seed and everyday essentials. His motto: people with service.
1970s
Roots in Canada
The Punjani family settles in Coquitlam, BC and takes over a neighbourhood shop called Holland Hardware — the start of everything that followed.
1973
Holland Imports Inc.
Spotting a gap for quality products at fair prices, the family begins importing directly and Holland Imports is born.
Today
Holland Greenhouse
Our garden brand: watering, growing, tools, planters and greenhouse products, shipped from Chilliwack to garden centres and retailers across Canada.
